To Whiz: The Scriptures condone prosperity but not greed or usury. High profile people must take exceptional risk aversion methods of travel; a corporate jet helps to maintain the demanding schedule of such people.

The Bible says a camel would have better luck going through the eye of a needle than a rich man getting into heaven. Why is it that the Christian faith is so opposed to wealthy people? There are a lot of preachers flying around in private jets and no one seems to put them down for it.

To Crank: That would not be possible for me because God, my savior, and heaven already exist, and have a life within me. The Scriptures offer an abundance of wisdom, and a benchmark for the rules of self discipline that if followed will guide any person to a life of less suffering and more happiness. No regrets.

What if you live your whole life then find out there is no God, no savior, no heaven? Will you have regrets?

In an ideal world your suggestion would be plausible, however as long as there is sin in the world it just ain't gonna happen.

The two most common desires among all people worldwide are Happiness and the Reduction of Suffering. Why then can't the people of the world unite to focus on those two goals? Does someone always have to win and another lose? Can't it be a win, win, solution?

To LadybugJo: The definition of Hell is defined and described in the Scriptures. I do not add to, or take away from the Scriptures. Thanks to the sacrifice of the Lord, I will never experience it first hand in the eternal life.

To Tumbleweed: Unfortunately, more people go to hell at the end of the day than go to heaven. The prospect of an eternal life of bliss in heaven is far more motivating than the threat of burning hell. To have faith costs nothing and the rewards are infinite.

Most people don't seem to see the prospect of Hell as an impacting incentive to change their ways. What would you suggest?

To Drummer: If you are in discord with someone and refuse to forgive them, even if they don't deserve your forgiveness, then it is you that is tormented with unhappiness, bitterness, and grief. By forgiving someone and moving on with your life, you can be the loyal follower of the Lord, and once again enjoy your life without burden. Cast your cares to the Lord, and live a happy, happy life.

God will forgive our sins if we ask in prayer; we're suppose to forgive people who have sinned against us without them asking. Please explain.

To Wildchild: The law of God's nature - You will reap what you sow, greater than you sow, and later than you sow.

How come it is: when I do good things for people, better than good things happen to me and when I do bad things, worse than worse things happen to me?

To Krispy: In as much as you believe there is a God in heaven you must also believe there is a devil in Hell. You can provide the most benevolent home for your children but if they choose to allow demonic thoughts to control them do you disallow them from entering your home? The Lord shows us through his scripture how to deal with such behaviors and also the consequence of them. So, yes, we should follow his lead. Never give up hope and never stop trying.

Some people want to know why bad things happen to good people; I want to know why bad things happen, period. The Bible says he loves us and has the power, why then would he not want us to have a warm and loving home like any loving parent would? Seriously, should we follow his example?

Christians are lawful people, and the law states you must have insurance if you drive. Any other insurance is optional. I cannot direct you on that decision.

If your a Christian isn't Christ all the insurance a person needs? After all the insurance companies pay their claims departments bonuses for NOT paying claims. Christ wants to bless and protect his followers.

If God promises to provide, protect and please the people who believe in Jesus now, how will life be better in the second coming of Christ?

A prayer in good spirit will be answered; perhaps not the answer you wanted, but answered. If you stray, the shepherd will seek you out; if you do not respond, he won't stop the wolves from consuming you. He will still love you, dead or alive.

Does the Lord really answer prayer or is it just an act of self determination? I have prayed for a life consistent with biblical principles and for his spirit to always be the forefront of my thoughts and actions, but it doesn't seem to play out that way. Does the shepherd only guard his sheep if they are consistently thinking of him?

To Horsefly: I would suggest there are blessings all around you. You're just not seeing them. The Lord said he will bless you; he didn't say it would be easy.

To Bags: Only God knows what lies deep in the mind of any person. Who is to judge if the person feigned insanity at any given moment, or not.

Who decides where insanity and sanity begins and ends? You, a doctor, the government, or the Lord? The corrupt are punished; the insane are forgiven, right?
