Help! I just read the Book of Ecclesiastes and it blew a large hole in the very foundation of my Christian belief. Was Solomon truly the wisest man than ever lived?

To Annabelle: My bad, your right. Okay, there is an excellent movie out titled "The Letter Writer" (2011) directed by Christian Vulssa. This elderly man sends letters of encouragement to random people from the phone book. You have computer skills so perhaps you could send emails of encouragement to anybody and everybody including customer service representatives from any website you visit. The movie is on Netflix; watch it if you can. Just a suggestion. God Bless You, Annabelle.

Praying to the Lord is good but that's not doing anything for the Lord. Yes, Solo, I agree someone needs to pray for you. LOL

To Annabelle: Pray. Pray for America, your loved ones, your church, me. I can use all the help I can get. Thanks

To Clyde: God will forgive anyone who asks; but it doesn't stop the harvest. God and the plutocrat lawyers don't live by the same rules as us mere human beings.

Does God forgive everybody unconditionally, and without consequence? The preacher says I am to forgive everybody and not seek retribution; even if they don't ask me to. Is that the way God does it?

To Andria: The best advice anyone could ever receive is: To trust in God's word and live by it will result in the best life any person could ever have and enjoy.

To Satoshi: There are many different reasons people go to church. I doubt anyone goes for a single purpose. What draws me to a particular church is the quality of teaching I receive. This is why I enjoy the internet churches. All through the week I listen to sermons from different pastors all across America. Lightsource.com is one of my favorite sites because from there I can connect with many different services from around the country. By viewing the service online I can focus on the message, take notes, and replay for the highest level of learning and understanding. The messages on this website are intended to be short, to the point, and memorable.

Why do you go to church every Sunday? for social interaction? for image? for learning? for entertainment? to give God an hour of your time? Is it just something you do on Sundays like a tradition?

To Spike: The ancient art of mind control or manipulation was used by martial arts warriors to mentally terrorize their enemies. It is still being used by the very people, you, as a Christian want to avoid. However you should know about it so you can identify it and protect yourself from it. Cult leaders often use this approach.

What do you know about "Black Science" mind control? It appears some preachers use it and don't even know it; or do they?

I don't understand you Christians. The preacher says the Bible is the infallible word of God but he doesn't say which version and doesn't even have any original texts to go by. The preacher says don't be boastful but they are the most supercilious people I've met. The preacher says money won't buy you happiness but in the same breath will ask you to give up more than you can afford. Then after the service they get in their private jet and fly home to their million dollar mansion. The preacher says do not fornicate then opens a harem of wayward girls under the guise of helping them conform; yea, right. Who are you guys kidding; your just as human as anyone else with the same lusts, desires, and lifestyles. The words of a popular song best describe my feelings about it "I'd rather laugh with the sinners, than cry with the saints". If God is so powerful and smart seems like he could figure a way to end all the innocent suffering and add a whole lot more happiness in this world. If Jesus is the only way to heaven what happened to all the people that lived before he showed up?

To Tippi:To fear God is to know, understand and respect that God is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient; that he has complete authority over you, your life and your future. However, it does not mean that you should be scared but rather be thankful and loving toward him, knowing that he has the power to save you from yourself.

To Niko: It would depend on your definition of curse. Throughout the Bible almost every person mentioned was chastened by God at one point in their life for their wrongdoing.

To Tattoo: How you live your life does not determine whether you are saved from your sins according to the Bible. Believing in salvation through Christ is what gets you into heaven. In the 1950's and before, it was socially acceptable to smoke, drink, even buy opium from the drug store for your babies. Many people confuse sin with the advancement of civilization's rules. Living a blessed life and a saved life are two different things. Keep the spirit of Christ in front of everything you do, and you will do the right thing for a blessed life. Believe that Christ died for your sins for a saved life.

I enjoy my "sinful" life but I also believe in, and have faith in God. Will God still love me and answer my prayers if I am still a siner?

To Hiromi: In my opinion, the greatest atrocity in the world today is the bad rap that God's boy, Jesus has gotten. I don't know why so many people think it's uncool to have an invisible friend in Jesus. When it comes to friends and love there really are no rules, only desires, hope and peace.

The preacher tells me fornication is a sin; that being asexual is also a sin. When God made the male he included a reproductive fluid that works much like the bladder that is, the reservoir of fluid builds up and must be evacuated or unhealthy medical issues can occur. So what's a fellow to do that is socially acceptable among Christians? Find a consenting partner or long showers? either way the reproductive fluid must be purged for health reasons. What the right thing to do? The doctor suggests using an adult magazine is safer than the random pusuit of a female companion. It has been said sex is no big deal until you don't have any. I don't want to turn into one of those cross-eyed, irritable old crabs that don't take care of their instinictive needs.
