Does the Bible say anything about a persons' right to privacy?

To Magoo:It is not wrong for man to do what nature motives him to do if it is done in a civilized way. Do not confuse learned behaviors with human nature. The advancement of a civilized human race is part of human nature. Unfortunately there are many in this world of all socio and economic levels that are still very uncivilized.

When God made man did he also create his human nature and instincts? (such as getting out of the rain, not touching fire, desiring sex, ect..) Then why is it wrong for man to do some of the things that comes naturally?

To Marcello: Sociopaths exist in all segments of society all over the world. If you don't agree with any one person about something either "agree to disagree" or move on down the line. It may be it is you who needs to change not the preacherman.

I think the preacherman is trying to dictate social prohibitions rather than spiritual ones and this is a great turn-off for the many different cultural customs of societies around the world. Wouldn't it be better if the preacherman would just stick to the Bible rather than telling people they are wrong if they aren't like him?

To Beater: The evil and destruction of Satan is facilitated through people and God does forgive people of their sins; so yes, God even includes the sins of Satan in his forgiveness. Satan continues to be damned, like people, because he will not submit to God but rather wants to be God.

Does God forgive Satan for his evil spirits and destruction of lives?

To Hosa: There is power in God's word for you only if "you" believe it.

I feel sure the writers of the Bible were honest and wise men; but is honest and truth the same thing? Do you believe that all they wrote was the whole truth?

To Easy: To be young at heart means to trust without question, to love without condition, to live without hate, to hope without reserve, to forgive without remembering, to give without knowing, and to follow the Lord in awe. This is just a start; you can probably add more. I hope you will.

To Charo: The mind has a way of building up defenses or walls to protect it from potential pain. Sometimes this is a bad thing when we shut out people or events that could benefit us but in some cases as in yours it would be a good thing. Try to devise ways to prevent yourself from the temptations that occur when you are most vulnerable. Don't go there or don't see that person; whatever it takes, avoid the scene.

In the mornings I read verse, watch a sermon, pray, and the Lord is ever present in my mind, but by the end of the day when the medications my doc says I must take have kicked in, seems like the devil sneaks in. I know the meds I take make me mentally vulnerable but what can I do?

To Creepy: "What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve" at least that what some folks think. It sounds good and reasonable but can you really do all the things you dream up? I don't want to say that supernatural events don't occur because I believe they do. However, the question remains, if there are people who can heal with a touch; why aren't these people closing down the hospitals with their gift? If the true power of the Holy Spirit is in your touch and it is God's will you could turn sand into diamonds, heal the sick, and strike dead Satan's child. God's power is infinite.

Does the laying on of hands really work? Can anyone do it? How do you do it? Can you heal yourself?

To Corker: It appears that many of the leaders of the different faiths take on a parent role for their followers. The Bible doesn't say "Don't play in the street" but a parent would. Is that wrong? If you disagree, there is a different faith out there that will tell you it is okay to play in the street.

Even in the various doctrines as Levi questions, there have been revisions in doctrine over the years adding more question to what is the truth of the Bible? Example the Catholics said it was a sin to eat meat on Friday for years but then it became okay somewhere along the way. What happened did God revise the Bible or come out with a new edition with new rules?

Levi

If the Bible is so simple to understand, why then are there so many different doctrines (Methodist, baptist, Catholics, Presbyterian and more)?

To Crush: Everyone has a right to their own opinion. In this case we must agree to disagree. The rulers and bosses may reign for a day but in the end the labors of the wicked end up in the hands of the saved. A promise from the Bible. I've seen it and I believe it.

It seems to me that all religion is about is making people live quite, passive and selfless lives so they can be easily manipulated, and taken advantage of, by the avaricious rulers and bosses.

To Dingo: I do not believe it is wrong to have expectations of God. If God makes a promise in the Bible then to expect that promise to be fulfilled is not wrong. Just make sure the promise was made by God and not someone else in the Bible. To live altruistically is to emulate Christ and that serves to make life better for you.

My affection for God is not based on some expectation from God; but the Bible also teaches us to claim the promises of the Bible. So how do I do something altruisticly and still claim the rewards promised in the Bible?

To Boa: Things are not always as they appear or as someone tells it. Christ said one day he would return and every new day brings us closer to that day. Are you prayed up and ready, for whenever that day may be?

According to NOAA July 2012 was the hottest month ever recorded in all of history and is possibly going to be the new norm. Is this a Biblical sign for the end of the world?
