To Easy: To be young at heart means to trust without question, to love without condition, to live without hate, to hope without reserve, to forgive without remembering, to give without knowing, and to follow the Lord in awe. This is just a start; you can probably add more. I hope you will.

What does it mean to be young at heart?

To Charo: The mind has a way of building up defenses or walls to protect it from potential pain. Sometimes this is a bad thing when we shut out people or events that could benefit us but in some cases as in yours it would be a good thing. Try to devise ways to prevent yourself from the temptations that occur when you are most vulnerable. Don't go there or don't see that person; whatever it takes, avoid the scene.

In the mornings I read verse, watch a sermon, pray, and the Lord is ever present in my mind, but by the end of the day when the medications my doc says I must take have kicked in, seems like the devil sneaks in. I know the meds I take make me mentally vulnerable but what can I do?

To Creepy: "What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve" at least that what some folks think. It sounds good and reasonable but can you really do all the things you dream up? I don't want to say that supernatural events don't occur because I believe they do. However, the question remains, if there are people who can heal with a touch; why aren't these people closing down the hospitals with their gift? If the true power of the Holy Spirit is in your touch and it is God's will you could turn sand into diamonds, heal the sick, and strike dead Satan's child. God's power is infinite.

Does the laying on of hands really work? Can anyone do it? How do you do it? Can you heal yourself?

To Corker: It appears that many of the leaders of the different faiths take on a parent role for their followers. The Bible doesn't say "Don't play in the street" but a parent would. Is that wrong? If you disagree, there is a different faith out there that will tell you it is okay to play in the street.

Even in the various doctrines as Levi questions, there have been revisions in doctrine over the years adding more question to what is the truth of the Bible? Example the Catholics said it was a sin to eat meat on Friday for years but then it became okay somewhere along the way. What happened did God revise the Bible or come out with a new edition with new rules?

If the Bible is so simple to understand, why then are there so many different doctrines (Methodist, baptist, Catholics, Presbyterian and more)?

To Crush: Everyone has a right to their own opinion. In this case we must agree to disagree. The rulers and bosses may reign for a day but in the end the labors of the wicked end up in the hands of the saved. A promise from the Bible. I've seen it and I believe it.

It seems to me that all religion is about is making people live quite, passive and selfless lives so they can be easily manipulated, and taken advantage of, by the avaricious rulers and bosses.

To Dingo: I do not believe it is wrong to have expectations of God. If God makes a promise in the Bible then to expect that promise to be fulfilled is not wrong. Just make sure the promise was made by God and not someone else in the Bible. To live altruistically is to emulate Christ and that serves to make life better for you.

My affection for God is not based on some expectation from God; but the Bible also teaches us to claim the promises of the Bible. So how do I do something altruisticly and still claim the rewards promised in the Bible?

To Boa: Things are not always as they appear or as someone tells it. Christ said one day he would return and every new day brings us closer to that day. Are you prayed up and ready, for whenever that day may be?

According to NOAA July 2012 was the hottest month ever recorded in all of history and is possibly going to be the new norm. Is this a Biblical sign for the end of the world?

To Milo:(continued) want you to know that if you don't follow the rules there is a heavy price to pay that is unless you have some special privilege or standing. Like every good salesman knows: If you give a person a good deal they may tell one or two people however if you cheat someone they will tell everyone they know and even people they don't know.

To Milo: The softer news comes on in the mornings. Consider the stories of the Bible; so many of them are about people making bad choices or bad decisions and the penalty they had to pay for it. The Bible and the news person want you to know that if you don\\

Why is it that people find stories of evil news more exciting than good news? I just watched the evening news and it started with 5 different stories of murder then went on to tell of other criminal activities. Is shock and awe required to get one's attention?

To Cruiser: There is a movie "The Case for Christ" that answers that question from a legal point of view, however there are millions of people who can testify to their invisible prayers becoming visible realities. Self-deception, I don't think so, but surety only comes at the time of our death. Faith in God has served me well in this life so whatever it is, I'm all for it.

Is believing in God an act of self-deception that people use to get through the hard times in life or is it real?

You talk about slimy lawyers and others but don't include the crooked preachers fleecing people that can't afford it, with their prayer cloths and other junk. What have you got to say about those fast-buck jerks?

To Old Hat: Sometimes a hammer shot between the eyes is the only way to stop a raging bull, but more dangerous than that is the slimy lawyers, bankers and politicians that get laws passed they can hide behind to commit their insidious acts of self interest. However, "The Book" will teach you how to out smart them all. If you will be cool the Lord has a bigger hammer than you could ever know. Being a sky walker offers a much more peaceful journey through life, don't you think? I do.
